Pennsylvania Standard Residential Lease Agreement – PDF Template
The Pennsylvania standard residential lease agreement is from the Landlord’s Association and is recommended for all one (1) year terms between a property owner or manager and a tenant. It is recommended that every tenant be screened by the landlord through the rental application before signing a legally binding agreement with the person(s).
The landlord may accept up to two (2) months’ of rent for the Security Deposit in addition to the first month of rent the tenant must pay at lease signing. Although, if the person has sufficient credit and a good rental history this may not be required but depends on the owner’s request.
- If the space being rented was constructed prior to 1978, the lead based paint disclosure form is recommended.
