Louisiana Monthly Rental Agreement – PDF Template
The Louisiana month-to-month rental agreement is a legal document that is used between a property owner and a tenant for tenancies with no end date. Usually for short term arrangements, the contract automatically renews every thirty (30) days as long as rent is paid by the tenant and either party has not given notice to one another to change or cancel.
The landlord should ask the tenant for one (1) month of rent as the Security Deposit just in case there is any damage left on the premises. The landlord should always perform a credit check on every lessee before committing to this type of tenancy.
- If the residential unit was built prior to 1978 the landlord must include the lead paint disclosure in the agreement.
