Delaware Residential Lease Agreement – PDF Template
The Delaware residential lease contract runs for twelve (12) months but can be any time that is agreed upon by the landlord (lessor) and renter (lessee). Both parties should come to an agreement over the rental price and who will pay for which utilities (electricity, water, heat, etc) before a lease can be signed. It is also recommended for the landlord to obtain a completed credit application from the tenant to make sure that he or she is qualified to pay the rent every month.
Once the contract is authorized by both parties (It is advised to have someone witness the signatures) the document is legal and both parties will be bound by it’s terms until the end of the term.
