A Montana sublease agreement is a real estate contract used to allow a tenant to be able to rent their property to someone else in return for monthly payment. The landlord will usually need to grant permission or at the very least be notified of the sublet arrangement. The sublease cannot extend further than the original lease end date that is in place between the landlord and tenant.

The tenant will need to provide the sublessee the following disclosures to be signed and attached to the sublease agreement;

- Mold – This form is mandatory is must be signed by all parties and attached to the contract.
- Move-in Checklist – To be completed and signed upon move in and move out by both the sublessor and sublessee.
